ECOWEEK
INTRO
ECOWEEK is an international non-profit environmental organization (NGO) which was established in Greece in 2005. ECOWEEK mission is to raise awareness and to promote the principles of integrated (sustainable) development. ECOWEEK promotes public awareness in three main areas: (a) Passive solar Architecture and ecological ('green') buidling (b) Recycling of household waste and composting of organic waste, and (c) energy conservation and renewable energy sources.
Since 2008 ECOWEEK has established partnerships, cooperation, initiatives, and activity in different countries in the Eastern Mediterranean region.
