ECOWEEK
INTRO
ECOWEEK is a private initiative to raise awareness; to inform and guide people in making choices in their daily lives which are friendly to the environment; to conserve energy and natural resources; to become part of the solution and not increase the problem of global warming. We believe that by changing habits we can change the climate.
ECOWEEK is a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Aegina, Greece. ECOWEEK was first organized on the island of Aegina in 2005. In 2007 ECOWEEK expanded its activity throughout Greece, including Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Herakleion (Crete), Corfu, Lesvos, and Aegina.
Starting in 2008, ECOWEEK is also active in Cyprus and Israel. Visit our local websites to join us in one of our coming events.
